Seven years ago, the Grayslake Park District hosted the first Fishing Derby to honor former Park Board Commissioner and avid fisherman George Weinert. Every year since, we’ve hosted the Fishing Derby to honor George’s memory and commitment to the Grayslake community. Register in advance to receive a free shirt and expedite check-in at the event.
