The Village Center features restaurants, bars, diners, a coffee shop, and bakeries, not to mention the iconic Dog n’ Suds drive-in restaurant and The Freeze ice cream stand, both operating on a seasonal basis (March – end of October). Want a hearty breakfast to start the day? Fred’s Diner and Whitney Café are staples for traditional breakfasts achieving the throwback feel to simpler times.

If dining alfresco is on your list, First Draft and Emil’s Tavern on Center feature large outdoor spaces, complete with televisions to catch whatever Chicago-area sporting event is being featured. New in June of 2023, The Vine: Martini & Wine Bar opened a large, outdoor area including an expansive bar, fireplaces and additional outdoor seating. Somethings Brewing, Abel’s Cantina, Light the Lamp Brewery, 129 Center Cut and Charlie’s also feature outdoor tables where you can take-in the sights and sounds of the Village Center while enjoying time with your friends and family over some great food and drinks!
