The Allure of True Crime

Amanda Vicary, psychology professor at Illinois Wesleyan University, will discuss her research on true crime, including why people (especially women!) like it. She'll also talk about some current and fascinating cases in Illinois that she covers in her classes on wrongful convictions--these cases are currently working their way through the court systems so you'll get an up-to-the minute look at the new evidence and can decide for yourselves if the men are truly guilty.
