The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum features multiple exhibition galleries, a community room, archives and collections storage. It also incorporates the original Village Hall, a former one-room school house moved to the site and expanded in 1895.

Song Circle at The Lake County Folk Club
The Lake County Folk Club will host their monthly Song Circle beginning at 6:30 pm.
Come out to play or just listen. Members and non-members are always welcome. One of their friendly hosts will keep the ball rolling.
This is a casual, no pressure opportunity to kick back, play some music and meet others. The participants form a circle, and each one in turn can choose to play a song or politely pass. It’s a chance to lead songs or to join in with others. They keep moving around the circle until it’s time to call it a night.

Creepy Crawly Carnival
Attention all future entomologists (bug scientists)! Join the Grayslake Area Public Library for a fun-filled afternoon dedicated to exploring the fascinating world of bugs! They’ll have crafts, games, and a creepy crawly scavenger hunt that will give you the shivers.

The Grayslake Central High School’s Environmental Science Class is inviting you to their annual Pumpkin Smash!
Avoid tossing your old pumpkins and recycle them into compost! Bring your pumpkins to the Grayslake Area Public Library parking lot! Pumpkins with paint will be accepted; decorations/candles must be removed.

Lake County Folk Club Open Stage
Join the Lake County Folk Club for Open Stage. Sign up begins at 6 pm and music starts at 6:30 pm.
Anyone who would like to perform is encouraged to do so. Non-performing listeners are always encouraged, and will be pleasantly surprised with the diverse musical styles represented.
The first 12 performers get to do two songs (no more than ten minutes total). After the 1st 12, they will fit in as many one-song performers as time allows. Things get wrapped up at 8:30. Suggested donation is $3.

15-Page Book Club
Join Beer Bazaar’s very own 15-Page Book Club, every second Thursday of the month from 7 pm - 9 pm. All genres welcome, come chat with fellow readers about your current literary adventures. After a book is shared, reflect on if the first 15 pages are indicative of the rest of the book. Also, feel free to bring a book you’ve enjoyed and are willing to add to the 15-Page Book Club’s Community Library at the store!

The Lake County Folk Club will host their monthly Song Circle beginning at 6:30 pm.

This is a casual, no pressure opportunity to kick back, play some music and meet others. The participants form a circle, and each one in turn can choose to play a song or politely pass. Grayslake Giving Trees
The Annual Grayslake Giving Trees display is coming back to the second floor of the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum! Local nonprofits will decorate trees to showcase their mission or the chosen theme for 2025.
You’ll have the opportunity to vote for your favorite tree or just enjoy the festivities. Votes are $1 per ticket and the organization with the most votes keeps the entire profit from their tree. The remaining organizations split the proceeds with the Grayslake Historical Society.

Canvas Mural Workshop with the Grayslake Arts Alliance Education Committee Day 2
