Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum’s Exhibits
The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum features multiple exhibition galleries, a community room, archives and collections storage. It also incorporates the original Village Hall, a former one-room school house moved to the site and expanded in 1895.

Student Pop-Up Exhibit
Students from Grayslake North High School curated an exhibit of prominent historical events and figures throughout the past 250 years of United States’ history.
This pop-up exhibit will be on display in the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum's Community Room from April 15th - 25th. The Heritage Center is open Wed - Fri 12 pm - 4 pm, and Sat 10 am - 4 pm.
Open Mic Thursdays
Black Lung Brewing has their Open Mic every week on Thursday evening! Finish dinner, but don’t forget your fancy fender! Jump up on stage and give them your best version of your favorite song! Friends of the Library: Book Drive
The Friends of the Grayslake Area Public Library are accepting new and gently used Books, DVDs, CDs, Games and Puzzles at their Spring Book Drive on April 18th. Volunteers will assist with accepting donations; just pull up to the front of the library for assistance.

Candles & Cannolis Workshop
Candles and cannolis come together for a cozy, hands-on workshop at Romney Brown Candle Company in downtown Grayslake. Guests will create a custom candle using their Wall of Scents, blending fragrances to design something completely their own.
After candle pouring, the experience continues with a guided cannoli workshop where guests will fill and decorate three cannolis with a mix of classic and creative flavors.

Song Circle at The Lake County Folk Club
The Lake County Folk Club will host their monthly Song Circle beginning at 6:30 pm.
Come out to play or just listen. Members and non-members are always welcome. One of their friendly hosts will keep the ball rolling.
This is a casual, no pressure opportunity to kick back, play some music and meet others. The participants form a circle, and each one in turn can choose to play a song or politely pass. Lake County Folk Club Open Stage
Join the Lake County Folk Club for Open Stage. Sign up begins at 6 pm and music starts at 6:30 pm.
Anyone who would like to perform is encouraged to do so. Non-performing listeners are always encouraged, and will be pleasantly surprised with the diverse musical styles represented.
The first 12 performers get to do two songs (no more than ten minutes total). After the 1st 12, they will fit in as many one-song performers as time allows. Things get wrapped up at 8:30. Suggested donation is $3.

Grayslake will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 25th. The parade will step-off at 9:30 am near the Grayslake Central High School parking lot on Lake Street and travel south on Lake Street to Junior Avenue and east to Memorial Park. The service will be held immediately following the parade.

Song Circle at The Lake County Folk Club
The Lake County Folk Club will host their monthly Song Circle beginning at 6:30 pm.
Come out to play or just listen. Members and non-members are always welcome. One of their friendly hosts will keep the ball rolling.
This is a casual, no pressure opportunity to kick back, play some music and meet others. The participants form a circle, and each one in turn can choose to play a song or politely pass. It’s a chance to lead songs or to join in with others. They keep moving around the circle until it’s time to call it a night.

Andy’s Records Vinyl Listening Club
Each month, Andy’s Records will gather to listen to and dissect a selected vinyl album with a group of like-minded music lovers over snacks and drinks (BYOB). They encourage you to listen in any way you can ahead of the meeting and be prepared to participate in a casual discussion about the album. Your $10 ticket will include admission, snacks, exclusive shopping and a raffle ticket for a drawing they will do that evening (the raffle winner also gets to pick the next album if they want to!).

Lake County Folk Club Open Stage
Join the Lake County Folk Club for Open Stage. Sign up begins at 6 pm and music starts at 6:30 pm.
Anyone who would like to perform is encouraged to do so. Non-performing listeners are always encouraged, and will be pleasantly surprised with the diverse musical styles represented.
The first 12 performers get to do two songs (no more than ten minutes total). After the 1st 12, they will fit in as many one-song performers as time allows. Things get wrapped up at 8:30. Suggested donation is $3.

Housed in Illinois' oldest standing brewery, they craft spirits using limestone-filtered water from an 1850s artesian well.
