27th Annual Grayslake Living History Tour (Grayslake Cemetery)

  • The Grayslake Cemetery Northeast Corner of Lake Street and Belvidere Road Grayslake, IL 60030 (map)

The 27th Annual Living History Tour of the Grayslake Cemetery located on South Lake Street near Route 120 will be Sunday, October 5th.

There will be two performances. The first one is at 1:30 pm and the second is at 2:30 pm. (Rain or Shine).

Since the village’s founding, a variety of trades and business people have called Grayslake home. From shopkeepers and newspaper publishers to doctors and postmen, these residents helped shape early Grayslake through their professions, and each has a story to tell. Costumed performers will share these stories at the 27th annual Living History Tour of the Grayslake Cemetery, where this year’s theme is “Open for Business.”

This event is brought to you by the Grayslake Historical Society and sponsored by Strang Funeral Chapel.

No registration is necessary for this free public event. Donations are appreciated.
