Join in on the fun, of chili making and chili tasting at Charlie’s Chili Cook Off!
General Rules
There will be 4 to 5 judges that will judge each chili entree with scores of 1 to 5 (5 being the highest) on Presentation, Smell, Flavor, Texture and Overall Impression. Scores will be added up and cash prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Patrons will vote on Fan Favorite and Most Unique by putting the number of the chili in the correct cup. These 2 winners will also receive a cash prize.
Contestant Rules
All chili must be cooked from scratch.
Bring your prepared chili in a crockpot, serving utensils, and an extension cord.
Tasting cups, spoons, napkins and condiments will be provided.
You must help clean up and take home crockpot, utensils, etc.
Taster Rules
Please take a small amount for the tasting. You may enjoy a bigger bowl after the results are in.
Make notes on your scorecard while tasting.
Fill out final card with the number of the chili that was your Favorite and Most Unique and drip in the bucket.
