Come to Whitney Street in Historic Downtown Grayslake for a free community event where music will be created together! The drum circle will be led by Helen Bond of Medusa’s Musical Mysteries. Bond works with West African Musicians and drum makers for these beautifully handcrafted drums.  They are hoping that artist, Fode Camara will be able to join the group.

Bring your instrument and join in the music. Listen to the rhythm or step up to a drum (some provided) and add your own beat!

Bond’s not-for-profit organization, Motherland Rhythm Community, provides clean drinking water to families in Guinea.
