The Grayslake Giving Trees exhibit returns, lighting up the room with an exhibit of trees decorated by local organizations at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum. Local nonprofits will decorate trees to showcase their mission or the chosen theme, “Around the World” for 2026.

Grayslake Giving Trees opens on Friday, November 27 (12 pm - 7 pm) and remains open through the end of the calendar year.

When visiting the Grayslake Giving Trees, you’ll have the opportunity to vote for your favorite tree or just enjoy the festivities. Votes are $1 per ticket and the organization with the most votes keeps the entire profit from their tree. The remaining organizations split the proceeds with the Grayslake Historical Society.
