Grayslake History Bike Hike

  • Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum 164 Hawley Street Grayslake, IL, 60030 United States (map)

Ride along with bicycle enthusiast Don Mobley to learn about the history of Grayslake neighborhoods. The ride will be 10 miles long, weaving through some of the beautiful and often unseen parts of Grayslake, as well as a good stretch of Rollins Savanna. There will be frequent stops to discuss the history of a neighborhood, and water will be provided. The Grayslake History Bike Hike is free, but limited spots are available. Want to go at your own pace? Look for the Grayslake History Trail booklet available in August! Historical information is provided by the Grayslake Historical Society and Grayslake Heritage Center. More rides can be scheduled if there is interest. Ride will begin at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum at 10 AM.
