Mark Dvorak in Concert at The Lake County Folk Club

  • Grayslake Village Hall 10 Seymour Avenue Grayslake, IL, 60030 United States (map)

Join the Lake County Folk Club for their January concert featuring Mark Dvorak.

Mark Dvorak is a modern-day troubadour who has been called “a folk singer’s folk singer” with an “encyclopedic knowledge of traditional songs.”  His natural style of performing can make an old song sound new and a new song sound familiar. Entertaining warmth, sincerity, distinctive talent and variety in presentation have distinguished Mr. Dvorak as one of today’s most important folk artists.

Mark’s concerts are a mix of the familiar and the new. Playing country blues guitar and masterfully picking old-time banjo, he interweaves traditional standards from the American songbook with his own well-crafted and often poignant originals. This show is not to be missed.

Concert Opener: Grayslake's own Wattle & Daub.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.

Ticket Prices: $20 - General Public, $15 - Seniors and $15 - Club Members
