Pages of History: A Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass

  • Grayslake Area Public Library 100 Library Lane Grayslake, IL, 60030 United States (map)

Watch out for the next book in our USA 250 Pages of History book-inspired lecture series!

Author James Ciccone, descendant of Lake County settler Amos Bennett, will join us from New York City at the Grayslake Area Public Library (100 Library Lane Grayslake, IL 60030) on March 3 at 7 pm. He will explore the life of "Doc Bennett" in Lake County.

A Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass and Ciccone’s own book, The Lake County Trilogy will be available at the library and at the event.

This year's books are chosen in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Presenters are invited to take the audience beyond the books to discuss history or contemporary topics within the stories.
