Pages of History: Lincoln in the Bardo

  • Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum 164 Hawley Street Grayslake, IL, 60030 United States (map)

The Pages of History book-inspired lecture series is back for USA 250!

This year's books are chosen in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Presenters are invited to take the audience beyond the books to discuss history or contemporary topics within the stories.

Historian and author Dr. Christian McWhirter will join the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum via video call and will explore Abraham Lincoln’s grief after he lost his son, Willie, while serving in office.

Registration is NOT required to attend but encouraged as books will be available for pick up at the library upon registration.
