The Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce and Grayslake Village Center are teaming up again to bring you a day of outdoor family fun with a parade, music, food and more at the 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
12 pm - 4 pm - The Grayslake Arts Alliance will be in the community room at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum (164 Hawley Street) for a free Irish-themed arts & crafts activity
12:30 - 2:30 pm - FREE face painting by Yamel’s Creations in Centennial Plaza
12:30 pm - 4 pm - Food and drink outside (see offerings below) from area businesses
12:45 - Bagpipe music performance from Northern Illinois Pipes and Drums at Center & Whitney Streets before the parade begins
1 pm - The parade will kick off starting in Gelatin Park, travel down Center Street, and end at Slusser Street.

Live music from Mid Atlantic until 4 pm and music/sounds from Doppler Audio throughout the event.
Reminder: Center Street will be closed for the celebrations beginning at 11 am - 4 pm.

Food and Drink on Center Street and Other Offerings:
🍀 Charlies will have a bar outside, serving up drinks.
🍀 Emil’s Tavern on Center will be pouring green beer, serving cans of Murphy's Irish Stout, and have pizza slices and Irish nachos. That afternoon, McNulty Irish Dancers will perform inside their restaurant and they will feature the band Shamrock from 7 - 10 pm! Learn more.
🍀 Sienna Lifestyle will be outside with delicious drinks and a balloon backdrop for the perfect St. Patty’s selfies inside.
🍀Abel’s Cantina will be outside serving up margaritas.
🍀 Beer Bazaar will be out with a variety of beers, their Bubble Bazaar, Swamp Water, and soda options including Green River and Glenrock Lime.
🍀 First Draft will be serving up Irish themed food and offer a variety of drinks.
🍀 129 Center Cut will be out with food and drinks and beginning at 5 pm - 9 pm, the St. Patrick’s Day Social with Shield 23. Learn more.
🍀 Black Lung Brewing Company will be out serving up a variety of beer. Catch them in the parade too!
🍀 Johnny Boys Mini Donuts will be out serving up sweet treats, hot chocolate and coffee.
🍀 Bake Share will be out selling pies and cookies.
🍀Somethings Brewing will have their delicious St. Patrick’s Day drinks inside their location.
🍀 The Vine will have food and drink specials inside.
🍀Dog’n’Suds is open for the season and will feature Thin Mint Shakes, Green River Shakes, and Green River Floats.
