The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a not-for-profit organization and is made up of dedicated volunteers and donors. Since 2000, St. Baldrick's has hosted nearly 4,200 head-shaving events and shaved over 190,500 heads, raising over $118 million for life-saving childhood cancer research.
Did you know that our own Grayslake Middle School is a frequent event host for St. Baldrick's?!
On Friday, April 4th from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm, GMS will be hosting its 10th St. Baldrick's event. This event that is open to the community and will feature the Cut & Shave Event from 2 pm - 6 pm and a Vitalant Blood Drive as part of the event - also from 2 pm - 6 pm.
