Join the Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce for their annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Festival! Enjoy the family fun that kicks off the holiday season on the day after Thanksgiving! See the lights and experience all the great event offerings! The Chamber has a lot in store for you this year!
Event Details:
Visit Santa Clause between 3 pm - 4:45 pm and 6 pm - 7 pm.
Visits and photos will take place at Mock Design Group (162 Center Street). Photos will be taken by Bella Vie Studio.
Vendors including food, drink, and more will be on Center Street beginning at 3 pm.
Grayslake BSA Troops 96/1996 will have a tent set up selling wreaths, hot cider, hot cocoa, hot dogs and Hot Hands.
Hear the Grayslake Central High School Band and see Santa come through town in a firetruck at 5:15 pm.
Lighting of the tree and countdown by Mayor Rhett Taylor will take place 5:30 pm.
FREE horse drawn carriage rides will be available through downtown Grayslake from 6 pm - 8 pm. *Carriage rides have been made possible by the generous sponsors including Rudolph’s Furniture, Orthodontic Specialists of Lake County, Somethings Brewing, Old National Bank, The Dance Connection, and ATC Wegge, LTD.
The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum will kick off their Grayslake Giving Trees Display 12 pm - 7 pm; this year’s theme is a Splash of Color.
The 6th Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest will be taking place. See decorated windows at participating businesses throughout historic downtown Grayslake.
The Grayslake Arts Alliance Fine Arts Holiday show will be at Village Hall from 5 pm - 8 pm featuring:
Free kids craft
Fine art on sale from local artists
Students from Bill Chapin Jazz Studio will perform.
