Join the Grayslake Youth Baseball Association (GYBA) for the 20th Annual AJR Memorial Tournament, taking place July 16–19 at fields throughout Grayslake, including Alleghany Park and Aquatic Field here in the Village Center.
Each summer, this tournament brings together youth baseball teams from across the Chicagoland area for a weekend of competition, sportsmanship, and community. Residents are encouraged to stop by, cheer on Grayslake's hometown teams, and enjoy exciting youth baseball throughout the weekend.
The tournament is held in memory of Alex John Richardson, honoring his passion for baseball and the lasting impact he made on those around him. Two decades later, the tournament continues to celebrate his legacy while bringing families and the community together through the game he loved.
