The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum features multiple exhibition galleries, a community room, archives and collections storage. It also incorporates the original Village Hall, a former one-room school house moved to the site and expanded in 1895.

The Lake County Folk Club will host their monthly Song Circle beginning at 6:30 pm.

Come out to play or just listen. Members and non-members are always welcome. One of their friendly hosts will keep the ball rolling. 

This is a casual, no pressure opportunity to kick back, play some music and meet others. The participants form a circle, and each one in turn can choose to play a song or politely pass. It’s a chance to lead songs or to join in with others. They keep moving around the circle until it’s time to call it a night.

The Pages of History book-inspired lecture series is back with more USA 250 themes. This year's books are chosen in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Grayslake History teachers Adrijiana Bisevac & Pat Green, go beyond the text and into the history and culture behind the 1925 classic American novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Registration is NOT required to attend but encouraged as books will be available for pick up at the library upon registration.
